After becoming a starter late in her freshman season, Andrea Zalis’ stock and stats continued to rise. She earned all-tournament honors as a freshman, followed with second-team all-conference, all-tournament, and academic all-conference recognition as a sophomore and junior. In her senior season, Zalis led the conference in scoring (17.7 points a game) and rebounding (8.3 caroms a game) to earn SLIAC Co-Player of the Year recognition. She was a first-team all-conference pick and earned her third academic all-conference award. Statistically, she finished in the top five of eleven school stat charts, including, most career blocks (96) and most career points (1,376).
