Marshall ('03) was a member of both the football and baseball teams at Westminster. On the gridiron Marshall was voted first team All-Conference as both a linebacker and quarterback and is the only player in Westminster history to earn first team honors on both sides of the ball. In 2002 Marshall was named the UMAC Overall Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 2,035 yards and 13 touchdowns. On Sept. 5, 1998 Marshall threw a 94 yard pass to Parker Douglas to set the record for the longest pass in Westminster history. Marshall also excelled on the baseball diamond as a pitcher for the nationally ranked Westminster baseball team.
