Personal: Deion is the son of Denny and Carole Hughes and has two brothers, Dane and Danton.

2016: Holds school record for most hits in a season (60). Deion also holds the 4th place record in school history for runs scored in a season (44). He holds the 3rd place record in school history for innings pitched in a season (89.1), 2nd place record for strikeouts in a season (90), and first place record in school history for wins in a season (12). Deion also holds the first place record in school history for complete games in a season (9).
