Troy Romero led off the game with a single, and after stealing his 22nd base of the season, came around to score the 1st run of the ballgame on a Matt Lukins single.
-
That Blue Jay lead did not last for long as the Owls scored 2 runs of their own on Derek Archer in the bottom half of the 1st to go up on the Blue Jays 2-1.
-
The Blue Jays quickly answered with two more in the top of the 2nd on RBIs from Troy Romero and Payton Whitehead, giving Westminster the 3-2 lead.

Bode Gebbink took on a different role, coming out of the bullpen. He gave the Blue Jays 4.1 strong innings of relief. Kobe Allen came in for him in the bottom of the 7th and allowed Gebbink's runner to score on a wild pitch to make the game tied at 5.
-
The score would stay that way until the 9th, when Ryan Howard came up with a huge pinch-hit RBI single for the Blue Jays, and Aden Pecka would later score on a throwing error by the catcher. This gave the Blue Jays a 7-5 lead.

Kobe Allen would finish off his win in the 9th with a strikeout looking, capping off a 1-2-3 inning and a Blue Jay upset over the Owls.
