10/18/2024 Fulton, MO- On Thursday night, Westminster College faced off against Lyon College in a match up that ended with the Blue Jays falling 3-1 at Kent & Judith Mueller Stadium. The Blue Jays now stand at 2-9-2 and 1-2-2 in the conference.
The first half was a defensive battle, with both teams unable to find the back of the net, resulting in a scoreless draw at halftime. Westminster created several opportunities, totaling nine shots, but they couldn't convert as Lyon's goalkeeper, made four crucial saves.
