Fulton, Mo 3/21/2024- The Westminster College men's tennis team hosted the Kaskaskia College Blue Devils to start the season in the home opener. The Blue Devils would win match 1, 8-1, and match 2, 9-0 as the Blue Jays start the season 0-2. Copper Pennington and John Stannard won #1 doubles 8-7 for the Blue Jays, which was their only win on the day. They would fall 8-7 in the match after losing the tiebreaker 7-4. In #2 doubles in match 2, Will Morris and Hugo Jover would ultimately lose 8-6 but would have solid debuts for the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays will be back in action Saturday, March 23rd when they travel to Jacksonville, IL for a tri-match against Illinois College and Webster University.
