Fayette, Mo. 4/2/2022- The Westminster College men's track and field team traveled to Fayette to compete in the CMU Invite. They would place 17^th overall against 21 other schools and scored eight team points.

Devonte Hubbard (Lee's Summit, Mo. / Grandview Christian) placed 9^th in the high jump with a height of 1.65 meters. He would also compete in the long jump and placed 6^th with a jump of 6.59 meters.

Dexter Allen (St. Louis, MO / Saint Louis University) also competed in the long jump and placed 8^th overall with 6.13. Allen also competed in the 100-meter dash and placed 29^th with a time of 11.72.

Ben Wallace (Chicago, IL / Thornton Fractional South) also competed in the 100-meter dash, he finished 40^th with a time of 12.05.

Michael Giles (Pleasant Hill, IL / Pleasant Hill) competed in the 1500-meter run, he finished 16^th overall with a time of 4:20:13. Giles would also compete in the 800-meter run.  He finished with a time of 2:08:64 and placed 19^th.

Lane Martin (Lexington, MO / Lexington also competed in the 1500-meter run and finished 36^th overall with a time of 4:55:11. Martin competed in the 3000-meter Steeplechase on Friday. He would finish 5^th overall with a time of 12:31:21.

The Blue Jays will be back in action on April 9^th when the compete in the McKendree Bearcat Classic.
