JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Westminster women's golf team placed 12th at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship today. The two-day event was hosted on at the Links in Jacksonville, Ill.

Makayla Jackson and Emma Halbrook were the top two finishers for the Blue Jays, placing 41st and 42nd overall. Jackson shot a 123 in the first round on Monday and cut her score down to 110 in the second round for a total of 233. Halbrook, who led the Blue Jays after the first round with a score of 120, shot a 115 in the second round to finish just behind Jackson with a score of 235.

Anna Oliver finished in 49th after shooting 145 in the first round and 134 in the second for a total of 279.

Chloe Helming and Savanna Riccetti rounded out the competition for Westminster.

Jackson was also named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the second consecutive season.

This tournament concludes the 2019 season for the Blue Jays.
