Blue Jays Lose Dual To Beavers

Staunton, IL 4/13/2023- The Westminster College women's golf team traveled to Staunton, Illinois to take on Blackburn College at the Timber Lakes Golf Course. The Beavers would shoot 358 on the day defeating the Blue Jays who shot 524.

Freshman Jamie Peffer (Elk City, Oklahoma / Merritt) placed 6th overall in her first collegiate golf match and shot a 111 on the day.

Jenna Frisella (St. Louis, MO / Oakville High School) shot a 132 in the round.

Ruramaimunashe Mutefura shot a 138 on the day.

Ginna Meisenheimer (Jamestown, Missouri / Jamestown) shot a 143 in her first-ever round of competitive golf.

The Blue Jays will be back on the green on April 17th and 18th when they host Eureka College at Tanglewood Golf Couse in Fulton, Mo.
