After opening the first match with just a three-point deficit, Westminster struggled to maintain their strong start in the final two sets, falling 25-19 and 25-12 in the third set.
Sarah Rivers led the team in kills with eight. Madisyn Matthews assisted on 15 points, while Bridget Ringwald and Micha Frasher each recorded double-digit digs.
The Blue Jays return home Tuesday for a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup with Iowa Wesleyan, marking the squad's home opener in the Historic Gym. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
