Kuykendall Earns First SLIAC Runner of the Week Award

Jessie Kuykendall started where she left off last season, earning her first St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week award of the season.

Despite the rain and poor course conditions, Kuykendall finished second of 50 runners at the UIS Prairie Star Invitational. She was the top NCAA Division III finisher, completing the 4K in 15 minutes, 50.26 seconds.

Although the award is Kuykendall's first this season, it marks the ninth Runner of the Week award in her career.

The Blue Jays return to racing this Friday at the Missouri Southern Stampede.
