Westminster baseball's Tyler Branneky was named to the d3baseball.com national Team of the Week for April 6-12 for his performance in helping the Blue Jays go 3-0 on the week. Branneky helped lead a Westminster offensive explosion that swept an undefeated team in three games and 23 runs scored.
Branneky batted .667 (8-for-12) in three games for Westminster. He had four extra base hits (two doubles, two home runs) to go with six runs scored and eight RBI. Branneky was perfect in the field, participating in two twin killings.
Branneky is batting .412 on the season with 11 extra-base hits, including three home runs. The Blue Jays are currently 12-8 on the season and 7-4 in conference play.
