The Westminster men's golf team placed 13th out of 13 at the William Woods University Boone Hospital Spring Invite. The two-day invitational took place at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Mo. on April 5-6, 2016.

Senior Blake Stonecipher led the team on the course with a 173 score and a 60th place finish. He finished day one tied for 53rd with an 84, and scored an 89 on day two.

Sophomore Brendan Smith finished just behind Stonecipher with a 174 overall score, tying for 61st. He scored 87 on both days on the course.

Junior Connor Muenks scored an 87 on day one and a 97 on day two to tie for 65th with a 184. 

Sophomore Blake Harris led the team on day two with an 86, but his 101 day one score tied him for 68th place with a 187 score.

Sophomore Nick Carlos placed 70th at the invitational with a 189. He scored an 87 on day two. 

The golf team travels to Jacksonville, Ill. on Monday, April 11, to compete in the McNaughton Invitational hosted by Illinois College. The teams will tee-off at 10:00 am at the Jacksonville Country Club.
