Columbus, MS 3/30/24- The Westminster College Blue Jays traveled to Mississippi to face the Mississippi University of Women Owls. The Blue Jays would lose game 1, 8-0 and dropped game 2, 11-3. The Blue Jays moved to 4-20 on the season. 

Game 1 vs MUW: Box Score 

• Getting the call in the circle for the Blue Jays, sophomore, Caroline Bently. Bentley threw for 1.2 innings, giving up 5 hits and struck out one. Coming in to finish the game, freshman Ellie Bedsworth, threw 4 innings, giving up 6 hits and struck out a batter. 

• The Blue Jays offense struggled against the Owls pitching in game 1. The Blue Jays would only get 5 hits in game 1.

•  In game 2, Payton Dudenhoeffer gets the start for the Blue Jays. Dudenhoeffer went 4.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and striking out 1. Mia Turner would come in and finish the game for Dudenhoeffer, throwing 1 inning and giving up 4 hits.
