Madison Taggart provided a majority of the offense for the Blue Jays, scoring a whopping 6 goals. Roberta Burns added two more goals to her season total, after getting her first the day prior.

Senior Bailey Mitchell got in on the offensive explosion as well, scoring her first career goal.

"The ladies played their hearts out and left everything on the field, " said a proud Head Coach Kristi Crowley. "It was a competitive, physical game and we held our own and stayed composed."

The Blue Jays were initially down by two points going into the second half, but they eventually took the lead.

Then, after both teams went point-for-point for a while, Northland grabbed the game-tying goal at 10-10 with a minute and half left to play in regulation.

The game then headed to a sudden death overtime period where, with just one minute remaining, Northland tallied the game-winning goal, crushing the Blue Jays' chances at earning their first win.

Westminster closes out the season with Senior Night for their next match on Friday, April 21st, against Mo. Baptist.
