Blue Jays Close Out Inaugural Season

Westminster Women's Lacrosse played in their final game of the year Friday against Missouri Baptist, losing 19-3.

"Today was a bitter sweet game," according to Head Coach Kristi Crowley. Not only was it the team's last game of the season, but it was the last career game for Seniors Bailey Mitchell and Roberta Burns.

Madison Taggart continued her hot offensive streak this season by scoring all three goals for the Blue Jays on the day.

Hannah Parker stepped on defense as well for Westminster, totaling four ground balls on the day.

"I am a proud coach after today's game and with what we accomplished over the course of our season," said Coach Crowley. "We have come so far from our first game and the future looks nothing but bright."
