Men’s and Women’s Track Completes Prin Relays

ELSAH, Ill. – Westminster men's and women's track and field completes the first indoor meet of the season at the Prin Relays.

Charlotte Blair posted one of the top finishes for the women, finished eighth out of 30 runners in the 500 meters. She ran the race in one minte, 26.73 seconds.

Taylor Howard competed in the triple jump, finishing in 15th with a mark of 29 feet, 11.25 inches. She also finished the 300 meters in 48.14, good enough for 17th.

Abby Theroff, competing in her first meet in a Blue Jay uniform, finished 33rd in the shot put with a throw of 25-8.

Abby Beach finished 16th in the mile. She completed the race in 6:24.50. Sydney Pinkerton also competed in the mille, finishing in 22nd at 6:36.35.

On the men's side, Kole Rackers competed in two events for Westminster. He finished 12th of 29 in the 500 meters with a time of 1:12.16. He also ran the 300 meters in 39.91, finishing in 28th place out of 51 runners.

Glen Tuebner completed a sub-five minute mile, finishing the race in 20th place out of 32 runners with a time of 4:52.26. Jack Perdue finished in 5:21.55, good enough for 36th place.

Westminster next completes Feb. 4 at Illinois College.
