7/25/2024 Fulton, Mo. ‒ Derek Zander, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics, Athletics Advancement, and Strategic Programs, announced that Alex Kueker has been named the new Blue Jays men's and women's golf coach. He takes the reigns to the program effective immediately.

Kueker joins Westminster after graduating from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri, with a degree in sports management.

At Fontbonne, Kueker served as a student assistant for the Griffiths men's basketball team and was a two-year player on the men's golf team.

Kueker previously spent two years at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois, where he served as the golf captain for two seasons and as the sports information director from 2020 to 2022.

After spending the last four seasons in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletics Conference golf ranks, Kueker said he believes he can make an immediate impact at Westminster College.

"I hope to help create an identify for the Blue Jays golf program that is a positive experience for our student-athletes and the entire campus community," Kueker reflected. "Ultimately, I want to create an environment that is both fun and exciting for everyone."
