ELSAH, Ill. - Three student-athletes earned a place at the annual Principia Multis for Westminster Track, including a new school record in the weight throw from John Martin III.

Martin placed in two events, placing sixth in the shot put and seventh in the weight throw. His toss of 12.61 meters in the weight throws shatters a personal best for Martin and bests the previous school record of 11.60 meters set by Mike Lutz in 2015. 

Freshman Nik Franklin competed in the long jump for his first ever college meet, placing 10th with a jump of 5.21 meters. 

Kjia Zuroweste competed on the women's side, placing ninth in the shot put with a throw of 8.89 meters, a personal best for the senior thrower.
