Greenville, Ill., April 17, 2021 - The Westminster College men's track and field team traveled to compete at the Greenville Select Track Meet on Saturday. This marked the first time that the team had close to its full team. It was a good day for many Blue Jays.  The Day was highlighted by DeAndre White who took 6^th in the discus and 9^th in the shot put and Devonte Hubbard who took 5^th in the triple jump.

Dexter Allen took 9
th in the Long jump with a mark of 19-08.00.

Devonte Hubbard placed 5^th in the triple jump recording a jump of 41-09.75.

The discus was the deepest event for the Blue Jays. 
DeAndre White place 6
th in the discus with a throw of 117-04.  JJ Geier came in 9
th with a throw of and 111-05 and Geoffrey Giles finished 10
th with a mark of 110-04.

The Blue Jays also had a strong showing in the shot put as Geier would come in 8
th place with a throw of 39-00.50.  He was followed by White in 9
th place with a throw of



38-11.50.  
Ray Samuels came in 10
th with a mark of 37-09.50.

Jacob Marshall recorded a time of 5:08.08 in the 1500 meter run for the Blue Jays which was a PR.

The Blue Jays will be back on the track this coming Thursday at Truman State University at the Truman State Twilight Meet.
