Naperville, IL 2/19/2023- The Westminster College women's wrestling team traveled to Naperville, Illinois to compete in the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Regional Qualifier for a chance to move on to Nationals on March 3rd. Freshman grappler Kaitlyn Mossinghoff (St. Charles, MO / Francis Howell) will be moving on to the National Tournament after finishing in fourth place in the 155-pound weight class. The Blue Jays had a good showing overall with senior Taylor Reed (Columbia, Mo. / Battle) finishing in seventh place in the 123-pound weight class and freshman Natalie Stewart (West Plains, MO / West Plains) would finish in eighth place. Westminster would finish ninth overall as a team.
