Kuykendall and Teubner Earn SLIAC Runners of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Jessie Kuykendall and Glenn Teubner earned the SLIAC Runner of the Week Awards for men's and women's cross country after their performances at the Southern Stampede hosted by Missouri Southern. 

Kuykendall set a new personal best as well as shattering the Westmisnter 5K record with a time of 18 minutes, 45 seconds to earn her second Runner of the Week award. Kuykendall finished third in a field of 149 runners and helped the Blue Jays to a 10th place finish as a team. 

Teubner set a personal best and took home a second-place finish with an 8K time of 26:16. In the field of 153 runners, he was the first attached runner to cross the line. 

Westminster cross country continues its season Friday with the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana.
