Kuykendall, Teubner Finish Second at Illinois College Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Jessie Kuykendall and Glenn Teubner took home second-place finishes at the Illinois College Invitational Saturday.

Westminster women's cross country took second as a team. Kuykendall ran a 6K time of 23 minutes, 35.30 seconds. Alex Rauscher crossed the line next for the Blue Jays in 13th with a time of 26:09.33. Taylor Howard came in just behind her in 15th with a time of 26:23.75. 

Charlotte Blair came in 20th for Westminster. She finished the race in 26:45.36. Madison Zack rounded out the top five point-scorers for Westminster, clocking in at 27:38.18. 

Sydney Pinkerton finished in 31st with a time of 27:59.87. 

Teubner finished the 8K in 27:58.08. Also competing for Westminster on the men's side was Jack Perdue (29th, 32:08.73) and Jack Pervinich (39th, 33:54.26). 

Westminster competes next at the SLIAC Championships Saturday, Oct. 29.
