Seven Blue Jays Earn All-Conference Honors for Men's Soccer

ST. LOUIS - Drake Trease, Cooper Smith, and Josh Jaycox were award first team All-Conference Honors.

Trease led the team in both goals and scoring with 14 goals, five assists, and 33 total points. He was named the SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week once and scored the game-winner against Webster Oct. 5. 

Defenseman Cooper Smith started and played in 18 games for the Blue Jays, recorded two goals and two assists for six points. He led a Westminster defense that recorded five shutouts and a 1.09 goals against average during the season. 

Josh Jaycox completes the trio of Blue Jays on the first team. The senior played in 16 games while recording an assist, also providing backbone to the solid Westminster defense during the season. 

Dustin Seibolt, Blake Hausman, and Daniel Barone were named to the SLIAC All-Conference second team. 

Seibolt scored seven goals on 42 shots for the Blue Jays, including netting the game-winner over Fontbonne in the SLIAC Semifinal match. 

Hausman played and started in 17 matches and was named the SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week once. 

Barone scored the game-winner in the SLIAC Championship match and was named the Tournament MVP. The junior scored four goals and added five assists for 13 points this season. 

Kyle Collins was selected as part of the SLIAC All-Conference third team. He was named the SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week once this season. He added four goals and seven assists for 15 points. 

David Immanuel was named to the SLIAC All-Sportmanship team. 

Westminster men's soccer will head to the NCAA First Round Saturday.
