Jacksonville, IL 2/3/2024- The Westminster College men's track and field team traveled to Jacksonville, Illinois to compete in the Jim Green Invitational hosted by Illinois College for their season opener. 

Elijah Teal placed 4th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.25 seconds. Teal finished 21st in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.45 seconds. 

Michael Giles placed 7th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:05:94. Giles finished 20th overall in the one-mile run with a time of 4:50:91. 

Bryce Schrader placed 38th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.73 seconds. Schrader placed 46th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.23 seconds. 

Lane Martin placed 45th in the one-mile run with a time of 5:41:62. 

Isaac Armour-Dozier placed 56th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.97 seconds. Armour-Dozier placed 40th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.76 seconds. 

Ben Wallace placed 67th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.13 seconds. Wallace placed 52nd in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.04 seconds. 

The Blue Jays will return on February 16th when they compete in the Illinois College Hilltop Classic in Jacksonville, Illinois at 5PM
