Elsah, IL 2/24/2024- The Westminster College men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Elsah, Illinois to compete in the SLIAC Indoor Championships hosted by Principia College. The women placed 6th overall, scoring 22 team points. The men placed 8th overall with 7 team points.  

Women's Track and Field  

Kalie Strayhorn won the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 26.09 seconds. Strayhorn finished 3rd in the women's 60-meter dash, with a time of 8.00 seconds.  

Emma Braby was 4th in the shot put with a throw of 10.91 meters.  

Moenasia Sidique finished 5th in the women's 400-meter dash at 1:05.81. Sidique placed 13th in the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 28.70 seconds.  

Men's Track and Field  

Elijah Teal finished 3rd in the men's 200-meter dash at 22.92 seconds. 

Michael Giles placed 7th in the men's 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.39 

The men's distance medley team comprised Lane Martin, Bryce Schrader, Michael Giles, and Isaac Dozier-Armour placed 6th with a time of 11:59.73  

Lane Martin placed 16th in the men's 1-mile run with a time of 5:41.11  

Ben Wallace finished 24th overall in the men's 60-meter dash with a time of 8.06 seconds. Wallace placed 34th in the men's 200-meter dash, with a time of 27.06 seconds.   

Bryce Schrader placed 25th in the men's 200-meter dash with a time of 25.22 seconds.
