Jefferson City, Mo 4/7/2024- The Westminster College men's and women's track and field teams competed in the Lincoln University Open on Saturday. The men placed 7th with 20 team points and the women placed 8th with 10 team points. Natalie Stewart won the women's javelin throw with a throw of 32.72 meters.  

Women's Results: 

Natalie Stewart won the women's javelin throw with a throw of 32.72 meters.  

Kalie Strayhorn finished 4th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.48. Strayhorn placed 5th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.26, breaking her own school record. 

Moenasia Sidique finished 8th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:05.07. Sidique placed 9th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.90.  

Men's Results:  

Michael Giles placed 5th in the 5000-meter run with a time of 16:46 

Elijah Teal placed 6th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.33 seconds.  

Lane Martin finished 7th in the 5000-meter run with a time of 19:14.76 

Bryce Hale placed 8th in the javelin throw with a throw of 39.46 meters.  

Isaac Armour-Dozier finished 14th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.49.  

The Blue Jays will be back in action on Saturday, April 20th when they compete in the Wildcat Invitational hosted by Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri.
