Inside Game Helps Blue Jays Breeze Past Central Christian, 94-77
The Westminster Blue Jays dominate Central Christian on the board on Monday, January 26. 
 
"In the past couple games our guards have dominated the stat book, but this game our inside presence was obvious," stated Danielle Williams. "I felt like we were really able to make a huge impact and give the team some momentum when we really needed it." Forward Krista Armontrout had eight rebounds, and forwards Danielle Smulczenski and Williams both had 7 rebounds. 
 
"It was a win," commented Head Coach Tracey Braden. "We give them a lot of credit; they shot the deep ball well."
 The Blue Jays led 37-19 at halftime. 
 
"Our focus and energy picked up in the second half. We did much better on the offensive glass," stated Coach Braden. The Blue Jays out rebounded Central Christian 50-26.
 
"Taylor Howard gave us some great defensive minutes, and Williams was a force in the second half," added Braden.
 
Five Blue Jays had over 10 points. Sophomore Andrea Zalis lead the team with 20 points. Williams and juniors Kasey Gatson, Sadie Theroff, and Mackenzie Haddox all contributed 11 points.
