Armontrout Named SLIAC Player of the Week

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced the second SLIAC Players of the Week for the winter season, and Westminster's Krista Armontrout earned the honors for the women's side.

Armontrout, a junior from Centralia, Mo., averaged a double-double performance on the week as she averaged 19.5 points and 12 rebounds per game. She posted her first collegiate double-double in Friday's 78-74 win. She made eight buckets each game and shot 53.3 percent from the field.

The Blue Jays defeated Millikin 78-74 on Friday. They went on to defeat Elmhurst 108-107 in double overtime on Saturday.

The team takes the week of Thanksgiving off and returns to the court on Wednesday, December 2, as they open up conference play at Spalding University.
