Fulton, Mo. - The Westminster College Blue Jay women's volleyball team is set to kick off their 2020-21 season! Head Coach Natalia Koryzna and her team will get things started on the road today, Wednesday February 10th, at SLIAC foe Fontbonne University.

- The Blue Jays were picked as one of three favorites to take home the SLIAC title in this years SLIAC Pre-Season Coaches Poll.
- Head Coach Natalia Koryzna returns five starters from last seasons SLIAC Tournament Championship winning team.
- 2019 SLIAC Newcomer of the Year, Eryka Wanyoni, Returns after a successful freshman season that saw her compile 291 kills and 345 digs.
- Senior Natalie Needy tallied 166 kills and 43 total blocks last season which earned her SLIAC All-Conference Second Team honors.
- The Blue Jays Erica Schrader returns after compiling 448 digs last season, which led all returners.
Taking a look at the Fontbonne University Griffins 0-1, 0-1 SLIAC:
- Fontbonne was picked 7th in the SLIAC Pre-season Coaches Poll.
- The Griffins lost in five sets at Blackburn College last Saturday; 25-20, 21-25, 16-25, 25-21, 10-15
- Fontbonne freshman Hannah Gallagher led the Griffins in kills with 15 and digs with 20.
- Fellow Fontbonne freshman Ella Werner led with 22 assists.
