Fulton, Mo. -  Westminster College Blue Jay guard Reese Arnold has been selected as the SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her outstanding play this past week.  This is the first week of the award for this season.  Arnold, a junior from Lonedell, Mo., helped lead the Blue Jays to a pair of wins last week. She averaged 26.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in the two games. On the week she shot .515 from the field, knocking down five triples and making 13-of-18 free-throws. Arnold had a high of 28 points on February 18 against Illinois College. A link to the SLIAC release can be found HERE.

Arnold and the Blue Jays will be back in action this weekend.  Westminster will kick off conference play on Saturday February 27th as they welcome Fontbonne University to Historic Gym for a 1:00 p.m. tip-off.
