Fulton, Mo. - The Westminster College Blue Jay women's basketball team will be in action tonight on the road in Iowa.  Head Coach Talisha Washington and her team will be taking on the Iowa Wesleyan University Tigers in  a 5:30 p.m. tip off. This will be Blue Jays second game of SLIAC play.

Taking a look at the Westminster College Blue Jays (3-1, 1-0 SLIAC):

  • The Blue Jays are coming off of three straight wins, the last of which was a 102-67 dismantling of Fontbonne University.
  • The Blue Jays are led in scoring by Reese Arnold at 23.0 PPG, Avylina Powel-Qualo 12.5 PPG and Kallee Dowler 10.5 PPG.
  • Madison Schaeffer leads the Blue Jays in rebounding at 8.5 RPG followed by Powel-Qualo with 7.8 RPG.
  • Arnold leads the team averaging 2.8 assists per game.
  • Shelby Kurtz leads the team in steals at 1.3 steals per game.
  • After three games the Blue Jays are averaging 82.0 PPG while shooting 42.2% from the field, 40.0% from the three-point line and 65.9% from the free throw line.
  • Westminster swept the season series last year winning at Westminster 99-47 and then the Blue Jays won at Iowa Wesleyan 81-64.

  • The Tigers come into today's game after picking up their first win of the season at Blackburn College 85-78
