Westminster Women's Soccer Named to 2014-15 NSCAA College Team Academic Award

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced the 2014-15 College Team Academic Award and the Westminster women's soccer team was among that list. The 2014-15 women's soccer team posted a 3.31 grade point average throughout the two semesters.

"The girls worked incredibly hard on their academics throughout the season and beyond," states Head Coach Jen Dyson. "Their goals reached far beyond the field and they challenged one another to be better in the classroom. They should be incredibly proud about what they accomplished as a team!"

The NSCAA annually recognizes college soccer programs that excel in the classroom, in addition to their work on the field. The team needs at least a 3.0 grade point average to be included in the award. A total of 866 soccer teams were awarded for the 2014-15 school year.

This is the second time the Blue Jay women's soccer program has earned this award. Back in 2004 the Blue Jays were also named to the list.
