The victory improved the Blue Jays record to 4-5 on the season (2-2 in SLIAC) while the Griffins dropped to 3-13 on the season (2-2 in SLIAC).

The Blue Jays won two out of the three doubles matches on the day. Alexa McPherson and Laura Kelly won their match by a close score of 8-4. Meaghan McGuire and Allison Frisella also won their match but by an even closer score of 8-5.

In singles, the Blue Jays and the Griffins split all six matches evenly at 3-3. For the Blue Jays, Alexa McPherson, Laura Kelly, and Meaghan McGuire all took home the victories.

Allison Frisella unfortunately lost her singles match, though she had to play in a three-set thriller against Andrea Wiele that ended in a final score of 3-6, 6-4, 12-10.

The Blue Jays are at home again this upcoming Tuesday, April 11th, against Stephens College at 4pm.
