"We expected to win today and it was nice to see the running game do well," said Westminster Head Coach John Welty. "Special teams did a great job and all in all it was a great day."

The Blue Jays scored right off the bat in less than two minutes. Lucas Robinson caught a 46-yard touchdown pass from Trent White to put Westminster up 7-0.

The second quarter saw the most offense from Westminster with three touchdowns. The first was a touchdown catch from Aaron Owens on a 40-yard pass from White.

Adams added his second touchdown run of the game in the third quarter on a 28-yard rush. Just ten minutes later, he added his third touchdown to give Westminster a 42-0 lead.

"Latif ran like he as on a mission today," said Welty. "He put the team on his back and was incredible today. Our offense is a working progress and it's beginning to evolve. The guys are starting to get more comfortable to trusting the process."

Lucas Robinson caught a pass from Bryce Moorman in the fourth quarter to make the final score 48-0 in favor of Westminster.

White was 11-22 with 177 passing yards. Adams added 243 rushing yards to the 488 yards of total offense from Westminster.
