ST. LOUIS - Westminster men's basketball junior guard Jimmy Villalobos was named the SLIAC Player of the Week for his double-double performance in the team's overtime win over Webster.

Villalobos recorded 23 points and 10 rebounds in the 98-94 win, the team's second conference victory of the season. They are now 2-1.

Villalobos played 37 minutes, hitting five of 10 three-pointers and going 8-17 from the field. 

Along with his 10 rebounds, he added four assists and three steals to give the Blue Jays the 98-94 overtime advantage. 

Westminster continues conference play Saturday at home against Spalding for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
