Blue Jays Fall to Fontbonne

ST. LOUIS - Westminster Men's Lacrosse was unable to keep up with Fontbonne on Wednesday, as the Blue Jays fell by a final score of 21-1.

Ethan Muffett provided the offense for the Blue Jays on the day with a goal near the end of the 2nd quarter. It was Muffet's first goal of the season and Head Coach Scott Fields "couldn't be happier for him."

Andrew Patterson "played a great game on both sides of the ball," according to Coach Fields. "Patterson was hit with the impossible task of taking almost all the faceoffs and playing both ways."

Jacob Hammerstone and Jacob Frendenthal also had great games, in which their improving defensive abilities did not go unnoticed by their head coach.

The Blue Jays finish the season on Sunday, April 23rd at the University of Kansas at 1pm.
