Zemianek tripled in a pair of runs before scoring on a wild pitch to give the Blue Jays a 3-0 lead. Laidley then reached on a single and Price homered to center field to make the score 5-0 before the Stars even recorded an out.

The Blue Jays added four more runs in the second, two in the third and another in the fifth to take the game 13-1 and sweep the doubleheader.
