ST. LOUIS - Westminster women's soccer was selected to finish fourth in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, based on a poll from the league's head coaches.

The Blue Jays totaled 57 points, following Webster (80), Greenville (67), and Fontbonne (64).

First-year Head Coach Wendy Sanchez looks to improve upon the team's 7-2 record in conference play last season.

Despite losing the team's leading scorer from last season, the Blue Jays look to Gracie Koonce and Natalie Schulte to help pick up the team's offense this season. Koonce added 13 goals and seven assists in her 2017 campaign, while Schulte scored six goals and added six assists in her freshman season.

Westminster opens the 2018 season Friday, August 31 at Simpson.
