The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced the final SLIAC/Diamond Sports Baseball Players of the Week for the 2016 season, and Westminster's Collin Brinker was selected as the Pitcher of the Week. 

Collin Brinker, a senior from Auxvasse, Mo., recorded a win and a save in the final week of the regular season for the Blue Jays. Brinker came on in relief to record a save in the Blue Jays game one win over Spalding. Brinker worked two scoreless innings, allowing just one hit, while striking out four. In game two, Brinker took the ball for the start, working five innings and allowing just one run on one hit while striking out three. On the week, Brinker held a 1.29 earned-run average over seven innings, allowing two hits and striking out seven.

The Blue Jays enter post season play on Thursday, May 12, at the SLIAC Tournament. They face MacMurray College in the opening round starting at 2:00 pm.
