Hall Scores First Goal on Senior Day

FULTON, Mo. - Senior Peyton Hall scored her first goal on senior day and the team's last game of the season.

"Today was a great game, the girls fought hard and I was happy with what they left on the field," said Westminster Head Coach Kristi Crowley. "We had two new people score today. Peyton scored her first goal eber for her senior game after moving from defense to attack, along with an assist from Daisy Humsey. Today was a great game for the closure of the season."

The Blue Jays lost 17-5 against St. Mary's, but marked their second-highest goal total this season. 

After St. Mary's got off to a 4-0 start, Danielle Griffiths scored her first career goal at the 20:21 mark, with an assist from Julia Roach to put Westminster on the board.

Daisy Humsey scored two more goals in the half for Westminster, making the score at the half 10-3 in favor of St. Mary's. 

Hall and Roach added Blue Jay goals in the second half to make the final score 17-5. 

"Peyton has made a big impact on our program by stepping in the role of goalier last season and this season when we needed help," said Crowley of her senior. "She has helped lead the team with being a two-year captain. Our team will dearly miss her."
