Men's Basketball Falls to #8 Elmhurst

The Westminster men's basketball team fell to eighth ranked team in the nation, Elmhurst College, on Saturday, November 21. After the 81-58 loss, the Westminster Blue Jays leave the annual Tip-Off Tournament with an 0-2 record. 

Elmhurst held a 41-23 lead after the first half. The Blue Jays only trailed Elmhurst 40-35 in the second half, but they could not make up for the first half deficit. 

Junior Tanner Gentges and sophomore Romo Tabb led the team offensively with 11 points each. Tabb pulled down six boards including five defensive. 

The Blue Jays begin conference play on Wednesday, December 2, at 8:00 pm EST versus Spalding University.
