Tabb and Carlos Named to SLIAC All-Conference Team

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced the 2015-16 Men's Basketball Awards and All-Conference teams following the first semifinal game of the SLIAC Tournament. Westminster's sophomores Romo Tabb and Nick Carlos were named to the All-Conference Third Team. 

Tabb, a sophomore from St. Louis, Mo., led the Blue Jays in three statistical categories including points, rebounds and blocks. He scored 315 points for the team with a 50.6 shooting percentage from inside the arc. He recorded 131 rebounds throughout the 26 games and blocked 20 shots.

Carlos, a sophomore from Ashland, Mo., led the team with an average of 13.3 points per game. He finished the season with 266 points and an 84.4 free throw percentage. He amassed 72 rebounds, 20 steals, 19 asissts, and nine blocks. 

The ten conference schools vote on the team they thought displayed the best example of sportsmanship throughout the season. The Blue Jays, for the third consecutive year, were selected by the conference members for the 2015-16 Spotrsmanship Award for their constant display of good sportsmanship. 

Each conference school also has one student-athlete named to the All-Sportsmanship Team for their display of sportmanship. Senior Kellen Brondel was selected by the coach and/or players to receive this award for Westminster.
