Blue Jays Fall in Tough Match-Up to Division I Austin Peay

The Westminster men's basketball team lost a tough match-up to Division I Austin Peay, 112-61. The Westminster Blue Jays are now 3-5 on the season. 

The Austin Peay Governors started the game with a 9-0 run. Sophomore Romo Tabb drained a three to put the Blue Jays on the board three minutes into the game, but the Governors went on a 7-0 run to go back up by 12. The Governors then struck a 19-0 run and closed out the half with a 37-13 run. The Blue Jays started the second half with a 60-24 deficit and lost the game 112-61. 

Tabb led the Blue Jays with 15 points after shooting 7-for-12 from the field. Junior Tanner Gentges pulled down four boards. 

The Blue Jays will begin conference play again on January 2, 2016 at Fontbonne University. Tip-off is at 3:00 pm.
