Fulton, MO- The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced the 2023 SLIAC Preseason Coaches' Poll on Thursday and it was revealed that the Westminster College men's soccer team was selected eighth overall in the conference, receiving 30 points.
Coach Brian O'Connor takes the reigns of the Blue Jays in his first season at Westminster College and brings back 26 players and seven starters from last season, while adding eight newcomers to the team. Among the group of returners are Second Team All-SLIAC players, junior forward Adam Luetkemeyer and senior defender Quinn VanDyke, who were both named to the 2023 SLIAC Men's Soccer Preseason Watch List.
The Blue Jays open their season at home Labor Day weekend, September 2nd, against Central College at 5:00 P.M.
