Westminster Men's and Women's Cross Country Competes at Cowbell Invite

ELSAH, Ill.. – The Westminster men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Principia Cowbell Invite today in Elsha, Ill. The men's team placed third out of three teams.

Sam Moore placed 10th in the men's 8k to lead the Blue Jays. Moore ran the course in 30:56.44. Joseph Labitska finished second for Westminster placing 14th with a time of 35:18.3.

Sayid Ahmed, Billy Murphy and Sam Tadrus also competed for the men's team.

Charlotte Blair was the lone competitor for the women's team. Blair finished the 6k in 6th place with a time of 27:24.8.

The Blue Jays will race again in the SLIAC Championships on Nov. 2 in Litchfield, Ill.
