Skogsberg Places Second At CMU Eagle Invitational

Senior Brier Skogsberg placed second in the Central Methodist Eagle Invitational on Saturday, August 29. The Westminster women's cross country team placed second at the dual with 31 points and an average time of 21:42.42. 

Skogsberg kept pace with the race winner, but landed in second with a time of 19:55.63. Sophomore Taylor Howard placed fourth with a 20:56.89 race time, and freshman Jessie Kuykendall placed fifth in her first collegiate race with a time of 21:04.90.

Sophomore Madison Zack crossed the finish line in 22:29.64, placing ninth. Senior Claire Gibby placed 11th with a time of 24:04.84, and freshman Cora Panettiere placed 15th (31:36.05). 

The Blue Jays compete next at the Principia Invite on Friday, September 4, in Elsah, Illinois.
