ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Westminster women's cross country finished 10th as a team while Jessie Kuykendall took second place at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
Kuykendall finished in 23 minutes, 2.8 seconds, 16 seconds behind the first-place finisher.
As a team, Westminster took home 10th place out of 26 teams.
Taylor Howard and Charlotte Blair finished in 74th and 75th for the Blue Jays, respectively. Howard crossed the line with a time of 26:40.1, which Blair clocked in just behind her at 26:40.5.
Sydney Pinkerton finished with a time of 27:29.1 to take 93rd. Madison Zack finished in 27:53.3 and 104th place. Abby Beach came in just behind Zack in 106th with a time of 27:56.3. Kate Smith finished in 34:18.3 and 212th.
Westminster takes a weekend off and returns to race Oct. 8 in the Principia College Cowbell Classic.
