Litchfield, IL, 10/30/21 – The Westminster College men's cross country team competed at the SIAC Championships hosted by Greenville College on Saturday morning in Litchfield, Illinois. The Blue Jays do not have enough team members to qualify for a team score.
Freshman Michael Giles (Herman, MO / Herman) recorded a time of 30:20.55 which was good for 23rd place in the 8K race.
Freshman Lane Martin (Lexington, MO / Lexington) recorded an 8K time of 30:54.76 which was good for a 26th place finish in the race.
Sophomore Jacob Marshall (Columbia, MO. / Hallsville) finished with a time of 32:39.84 over the 8K course. That time was good for a 33rd place finish.
The Blue Jays will be back on the course in two weeks November 13th when they travel to Rock Island, Illinois to compete in the NCAA Regionals hosted by Augustana College.
