Greenville, IL, 10/16/21 – The Westminster College men's cross country team traveled to Greenville University on Friday afternoon to compete in the Greenville Classic.  The Blue Jays did not have enough team members to qualify for a team score.  The field included four members of the SLIAC that the Blue Jays will compete against in the SLIAC Championships on October 30^th.  The race featured 104 competitors.

Freshman Lane Martin (Lexington, MO / Lexington) recorded a 8K time of 31:44.55 which was good for a 74^th place finish in the race.

Sophomore Jacob Marshall (Columbia, Mo. / Hallsville) finished with a PR of 32:47.76 over the 8K course.  That time was good for an 83^rd place finish.

The Blue Jays will next race in the SLIAC Championships on Saturday October 30^th.  The Championship is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. at the Litchfield Country Club in Litchfield, Illinois.
